About Inspired Learning

A Teacher Who Actually Remembers What It Felt Like to Struggle

Math doesn't have to be the subject that holds your student back. With the right environment and the right support, it can be the subject that builds their confidence.

The story

Why I Started Inspired Learning

We started tutoring because we saw a gap — students who understood the concepts in class but fell apart on tests, or students who were too embarrassed to ask questions in a room of 30+ peers. One-on-one tutoring helped, but it was out of reach for most families.

Small group tutoring changed that. A group of five creates just enough social energy that students feel comfortable asking questions, but small enough that no one gets lost. We've seen students go from dreading math class to genuinely looking forward to sessions.

Inspired Learning is built on one simple idea: every student can succeed in math — they just need the right environment to do it.

Teaching philosophy

How We Teach

Understanding over memorization

Memorizing steps gets students through one test. Understanding the concept gets them through the next three years. Every session is built around the why, not just the how.

No such thing as a dumb question

Small groups work because students feel safe. We actively create an environment where asking questions is normal — because it is.

Meeting students where they are

Some students need to back up and fill gaps. Others need to be pushed ahead. We adjust to each student's pace, not the other way around.

Results you can measure

Better marks are the obvious goal. But the real win is when a student stops saying 'I'm just not a math person' — because that's never true.
